Primal Zone

Terraformer Station

Primal Zone are places in Edge of Space where you can find a character upgrade and add abilities that aren't found anywhere else. Not to be confused with knowledges.

When you find a Primal Zone in a continent you will want to look for a door which is ALWAYS locked with a combination and must be hacked. You must crack the combination, it is fairly easy if you observe the pattern carefully. Most of the times, the terraformer will be inside the building with the combination door, sometimes (rarely) the terraformer will be randomly placed where you can access it but nothing happens when you right-click on it. The terraformer can only be activated after the combination is cracked (hacked) however. The random placement of the terraformer is most likely a world generation bug.
